Our story
Carshalton Park has been an established dental practice for over 50 years, helping to care for the dental health of its patients. Dr Jabbar Haghbedeh took over ownership of the practice in 2009 and completely transformed the surgeries and the waiting room into what is now a modern practice with the latest in dental technology. The practice has always prided itself on being family oriented, treating many generations of the same local families. In 2013, Dr Seville Haghbedeh joined her father's practice, turning the family friendly practice into a family run practice!
Our support staff are highly qualified and professional, treating all patients with kindness and respect. They are great at putting patients at ease, especially those who are anxious about visiting the dentist.
We always strive to provide the best service and standard of care to our patients, and continuously invest in new equipment and technology to enhance the patient experience. We provide all aspects of routine dentistry, from fillings and extractions to treatment for gums and crowns. Your dentist will explain all available options to you.
In recent years...
We've introduced the Cerec system, enabling us to use digital CAD/CAM technology to create beautiful crowns, bridges and veneers in a few hours on the premises. We also provide facial cosmetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers to help rejuvenate the skin, reduce the appearance of lines and add volume where it has been lost. We are now also pleased to be able to offer cosmetic teeth straightening for adults using Invisalign clear aligners and Cfast and Six Month Smiles clear fixed braces.
We are proud to offer the services of our hygienist, who has helped transform and maintain the dental health of patients for many years. Prevention of dental disease is key to a healthy mouth, and she is great at educating patients on the best methods for maintaining good oral hygiene at home. Our hygienist will remove buildups of plaque and calculus, as well as provide stain removal.
Find out more about the different treatments we offer by checking the treatments section.
The practice is fully computerised, with digital patient records and X-ray facilities. All three surgeries are equipped with intra oral cameras, meaning that the dentist can take pictures of your teeth to help explain problem areas, or show you the work that has been done. The surgeries are all air conditioned for your (and the dentists!) comfort.
The practice is located close to Carshalton High Street, next to Carshalton Park. There is plenty of free on street parking and excellent public transport links with bus and train stations close by. Please note that there have been recent restrictions on parking on the nearby side roads, with permit holders only between the hours of 11am and 4pm. Parking on Ruskin Road remains free. The practice unfortunately does not have step free access so may be difficult to access for those with mobility difficulties or those with young children and buggies. Please let us know in advance if you require assistance and we will be more than happy to help. For those patients who find it difficult to access our premises, we can recommend alternative practices in the area that have easier access or provide a domicilliary service.
For our existing patients, we endeavour to send reminders when routine examinations are due in order to maintain dental health. The interval between recalls will vary between patients, and is based on individual risk. Our capacity to provide NHS dental services is limited so we ask that NHS patients attend as frequently as recommended by the dentist to maintain their NHS position within the practice. If patients do not attend for two years, we may not be able to offer NHS appointments if we are at full capacity. Our ability to offer NHS dental services may vary throughout the year and we will publish on our website and social media pages when we can accept new NHS patients. Meet the team
We are all here to make your dental experience as pleasant as possible. We all understand that visiting the dentist is not everyone's favourite thing to do, and we strive to put all patients at ease as soon as they walk in the door.
If there is anything we can do to make your visit better, please do not hesitate to tell us.
We welcome all comments and feedback from patients and use it to improve the service we provide.
